TPA® Technology: Active Filtration
Airdog Patented TPA technology is an active filtration technology, which uses about 30,000 voltage inside the unit to kill 99.99% of all the bacteria, mold and viruses that it takes in, and then collects them on easy-to-wash collecting plates. It doesn’t rely on disposable (HEPA) filters that hurt your wallet and the environment.
Top Performance
Airdog cleans out microscopic particles down to 0.0146 microns, which is far beyond the 0.3 microns that a traditional HEPA does. The 3rd party lab tests confirm Airdog kills 99.87% of the influenza virus in an hour. What's more, Airdog was recently certified to destroy COVID-19 by the prestigious Democritus University of Thrace, from the Department of Medicine.
Reusable Filter
HEPA filters need to be replaced repeatedly which can easily cost hundreds of dollars per year. Airdog uses non-consumable collecting plates, which you simply wash by hands rather than spending money and changing filters all the time. No need to dispose of non-recycle fiberglass filter also helps to protect our environment.
High-volume Airflow, Low Noise
Airdog's optimized aerodynamic design enables high-volume airflow. X8 has a CADR of 470 CFM, which could circulate a 1000 ft.sq. three times in an hour.
Airdog is much quieter compared to HEPA air purifiers. The noise level ranges from 22dB (sleep mode) to 57dB (turbo mode) and averages 34dB which is half of traditional air purification systems. This is about as quiet as a soft hum, and definitely more quiet than your neighbor's dog.

Ordered the X8 but received the X5 by mistake. Customer Service was so amazing that they overnighted the X8 with humidifier. We ended up keeping the X5 as well and love all the products.

I have chronic asthma and with autoimmune problem. I was looking for Air Purifier that has small maintenance cost (HEPA filters) since I already have several models from other brands that cost $$$$. Came across AirDog when googling on internet and saw good reviews. Its interesting tech is the main reason why I decided to give it a try. When my X8 arrived, it came with neat multiple layers of package protection. Having the big display and controls on the top are a nice bonus. On first run, I did notice a strong smell of ozone like smell but it’s dissipating on next few days. I tried it on the kitchen area and it did show how bad the air after cooking. It took just few minutes for the AQI to go down (the color light indicator helps too). The only wish that I have is for the wheels at the bottom to be bigger as it’s a bit hard to move this thing around due to its weight but it’s expected. Overall I’m happy with this. I think I will order one more X8 and X5 bundle soon.
